Davie McCulloch Memorial Golf Championship

Sadly, fellow Arab and good friend Davie McCulloch past away on Friday 30th April, 2004.

With Davie having been a keen golfer, we felt it would be appropriate to hold a golfing day in Davie's memory, with the intension to continue holding this event every year.

So, on Saturday 12th June 2004, the Glenrothes Arabs held the inaugural Davie McCulloch Memorial Golf Championship, at Cluny Clays.

Although there was a competitve element, fun was very much the flavour of the day.

Team 3, consisting of Kev (team captain), Wee Bryan, Gus & Spoons were victorious and were presented with the trophy, while we enjoyed a refresing drink at the end of the days play.

In early 2005, planing for the second golf championship was already under way.
